iEARN-BRIDGE Exchange Program 2005-2006: The BRIDGE  program  support the travel of delegations of students and teachers from active iEARN schools for a program primarily in their partner schools and communities in USA. The BRIDGE program  targets  four students and one teacher from selected iEARN schools in Pakistan. The minimum stay for BRIDGE exchanges in the U.S. is three weeks; where the exchangees will live with U.S. host families, attend school, and participate in extracurricular activities to learn about the daily life of American youth. They will also participate in activities designed to teach them about community life, citizen participation in a democracy, the diversity of American culture, and issues related to their thematic iEARN projects. Exchangees  have opportunities to give presentations on their countries and cultures in schools and community forums.

For BRIDGE-3 iEARN-PK is scheduled to select 4 students and 1 teacher to participate in a 3 weeks program to USA from 8th -29th January 2006. The selection will end by 30th September 2005

iEARN schools can plan now and begin working on  iEARN projects,  so they can qualify to compete.
