Community CATALYST Program
Baton Rouge Workshop & Exchange

In March 2008, a group of
teachers and students from Pakistan had a chance to visit Baton Rouge,
Louisiana on CATALYST Animation exchange program. This program was launched
by iEARN-Pakistan, iEARN-Uzbekistan and iEARN-USA as Natural disaster Youth
Art Exchange program for the year 2007-2008. Two Pakistani teachers and 4
students from different cities of Pakistan accompanied by iEARN Pakistan
team members visited Shaw Centre of Arts, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA, to
learn new techniques for making animations for creating Public Service
Announcements. The workshop focused to develop necessary in Youth for
making a meaningful contribution to their communities through the use of
Internet-based interaction to create and share animated public service
announcements on the topic of natural disaster preparedness. Some pictures
of the Catalyst Exchange Program are given below.
