Youth Programs Facilitator
Job Purpose Summary: Professionals
working on this positions are required to support and implement the range of
programs focusing the diverse group young people involved in iEARN programs.
Since youth ages 10-21 are an important focus for all SIE (Society for
International Education) projects and program, the candidate will be responsible
for working with them nationwide providing leadership, synergy and professional
support for the youth groups to initiate and implement their projects and
programs.
He/she will be based at iEARN Centre Karachi fulltime, and will
be responsible for the design and development of iEARN Youth Projects Programs
leading the alumni and other youth members of iEARN network.
Reporting Relationship: Youth Programs
Facilitator will report to the Senior Program Officer.
Period of Contract:
Initial two years contract based on quarterly review of performance.
Key
Responsibilities:

Provide effective
leadership support to the youth members and the teachers .

Leading and coordinating the iEARN Youth Volunteering and
Community Service projects in collaboration with iEARN partner schools.
- Develop, direct and deliver
training and leadership programs for youth ages 10-21 enabling them to
be informed and active members of the community.
- Work alongside and lead the youth groups to design,
implement and evaluate the various community service, volunteering and other
youth relevant projects and events.
- Work closely with and mobilizing the iEARN alumni
specially the ones returning from USA after completing the one year Youth
Exchange and Studies Program.
- Facilitate some of the iEARN online collaborative
projects focusing youth and youth issues providing online support to all
participating students and educators.
- Develop and maintain a system of liasoning with the iEARN
youth and keep the members database updated and coordinate with them.
- Compile and write reports regularly on all youth projects
underway or completed and submit them in presentable manner whenever
required.
- Develop and maintain an iEARN youth/alumni website for
effective communication and programs updates
- Other job related duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelors/Masters preferably
in Social Work.
Experience and Dispositions:
We are looking for young professionals or fresh
graduates who are keen to take up an opportunity to develop their
[project management skills and gain experience in the field of service learning
and youth leadership.

- have some experience of working with students
aged 10-21 years;

volunteering (will be an asset);
- have experience with developing, delivering and coordinating
youth events and programs as student, professional or volunteer;
- are able to travel confidently in the city
using public transport system and can also travel in and outside
Pakistan independently.
