Effective Online Project Facilitators
A workshop supported by the iEARN Global Connections program

Duration: 6 hours
Timings: 9:00am-3:00pm
Participants: Students, teachers and alumni who are currently facilitating any iEARN project, also teachers who are willing to join any project as co-facilitator or launch a new project in iEARN and facilitate it.
With the ever increasing interest and the fact that iEARN projects can easily be
integrated in the existing school curriculum, iEARN teachers and students are
continually coming up with great iEARN projects. However
the success of
an ongoing or new project depends greatly on effective management of the project
by the project facilitators. This workshop is designed for the students, alumni and
teachers from iEARN network in Pakistan, who are project facilitators or are
planning/willing to be one. The facilitators will use the interesting concept of
7 Habits of a Highly Effective iEARN Project Facilitators as an inspiration.
The workshop will engage participants in hands on activities including
discussions, online forum based work and individual reflections and discussions
sessions leading to development of knowledge and skills required to effectively
facilitate an iEARN online collaborative projects with peers and experts
globally. The contents will focus topics including factors making a project
successful, skills required to be a great project facilitators, planning and
managing iEARN online projects. Outstanding participants will also get an
opportunity to join an ongoing project as co-facilitator. The workshop
participants will also receive their individual copy of a booklet developed as a
guide for the iEARN Project Facilitators.
