iEARN Centre-Pakistan

    School Partnership Application

We are pleased that your school is considering applying for the participation in iEARN Programs, Pakistan. iEARN is a part of the Society for International Education (Regd) . At SIE we are committed to work with umbrella organizations, academic bodies, universities, non-government organizations, and governments to establish a global community of concerned organizations and citizens with the express purpose of supporting the youth of the world in developing and implementing educational and humanitarian projects, especially projects focused at integrating information and communications technology in education.

Use of Internet is a key in the iEARN programs that links students and educators globally and use of telecommunications technologies for teachers and students to interact on meaningful educational projects for the purpose of cross-cultural awareness and global understanding. Using these technologies students throughout the participating countries would be enabled to engage in international collaborative experiences and strengthen instruction of academic subjects ranging from reading to foreign language and social studies.

The iEARN Centre member/partner schools gets opportunities to benefit from a wide range of projects , programs and unique ICT based learning opportunities.  The participating schools do not need to have significant knowledge or previous experience with internet collaboration and project-based learning, although teachers should have at least basic computer skills.  Finally, the selected schools do not have to be in any particular location, they can be urban, rural, or suburban as long as they meet the selection criteria.
