Workshop Title: Write On!!!
Target Professionals: English Language; English Literature and Literacy teachers, Curriculum Coordinators and Head of the English Departments.
Time: 6 Hours session from 9:00am-3:00pm

A comprehensive writing curriculum
leads students over a period of time to experience different forms and styles of
writing. Authentic writing projects and activities can be instrumental for
students to discover their potential of writing for discovering their own selves
and bringing about a social change. The wide range o
f iEARN online collaborative
projects presents great possibilities for students to develop skills and
understanding required for mastering different forms of writing. This workshop
introduces the different domains of writing including story, narrative,
persuasive and descriptive writings and how iEARN projects can be integrated to
teach them. Teachers will also get an opportunity to explore a list of
graded possible writing topics and set up a writing syllabus for their classes for
each semester of the academic year.
Each participant will also get a complete set of resource kit and CD; these are specially designed to help teachers teaching various genre of writing through iEARN projects The kit and CD contains a great collection of copiable masters, worksheets for pre writing activities, writing templates and writing prompts.
