iEARN provides students and educators with over 100 curriculum based projects in all subject areas. These projects are designed , facilitated and participated by teachers and students globally. Following are some project that are popular in Pakistan and many of them are even facilitated by Pakistani educators and students

Following are the projects specifically facilitated and participated by the students and educators from Pakistan.

 

‘Lewin’ a global anthology of students writing is co- facilitated by Farah S. Kamal, and students Dania Siddique and Maria Mirza from Pakistan with colleagues from Australia.

 

Reforming Customs and Traditions: Is a project that takes place in the CIVICS forum and participated by all CIVICS countries. The project is initiated by Farah S. Kamal and Shahnaz Zafar of Headstart School Islamabad and now facilitated by Irani educators.

 

Fight against Drugs: Is a project that takes place in Civics forum and is participated by several countries. It is facilitated by Sarah Alam.

 

Fight against Child Labour: Is a project carried out in the Child Labour forum several students from Pakistan have been enthusiastically working in this project.

 

Virtues-A Book of Inner and Outer World: Is a new project that will involve students highlight, investigate, and write about virtues that make a difference around the globe. The project is taking place in the CIVICS-BRIDGE forum, designed by a  group of CIVICS-3 teachers in Pakistan and  facilitated by Pakistani educator Farah Kamal in collaboration with Mary Ann Gormley of USA. 

 

A Picture Tells a 1000 Words: A project engaging students to discuss a picture/digital image or a scanned photograph that tells a story. One of the project facilitator is a students Aalaa Farooq of Pakistan currently residing in Saudi Arabia with Lynn Rosen a Teacher from New York-USA.

Sweet Whisper: Facilitated by a student Rabeya Raza with students and educators from Iran and Sri Lanka, the project invites youth from all around the world to share their writings and it is also a place for them to discuss their ideas and experiences of Friendship, Love, Freedom, Studies and etc.

 

Proverbs and Idioms Project: Mohammad Salman a student facilitator from Pakistan is working with other students and teachers from Iran, India and Nigeria. The project focuses the importance of sharing proverbs and idioms to understand as cultures and traditions.

 

The iQuote Project: A project facilitated by a Pakistani student Sadaf Basharat alongwith students and educators from USA, Iran and Lebanon. The project aims to create a platform on which students could share various quotations of well known philosophers.

 

The Community Learning Spaces: This project is aimed at helping explore the types and nature of the learning communities across. the globe. The project is created and facilitated by three Pakistani teachers from Karachi and Lahore namely Naila Saad Khan, Nooruddin Merchant and Kalsoom Akhtar.
