Opening of The iEARN BRIDGE Internet Learning Centre in the

SOS School-Rawalpindi

The Rotary Club RC Islamabad West members opened the iEARN- BRIDGE ILC, at SOS High School Rawaplindi on the 19th of April 2003. There were five members of Rotary Club Islamabad  main club plus two members of the interact club-the youth wing of the RC. They have put up a steel engraved plaque in the presence of the school principal, staff, and Gen. Waqar from the SOS management committee. Zahid Mirza gave a detailed briefing to Gen. Waqar about iEARN initiative for setting up this lab. arranging training workshop and sending Durdana to USA for training. Later President Masrur Of RC Islamabad West formaly inaugurated the lab by cutting the ribbon.

After the ceremony almost 150 students of SOS high school put up a PT display to celebrate this wonderful occasion and a step towards the global learning.

The students working in the lab. were very excited and seemed very happy.
