iEARN, CIVICS-BRIDGE Teacher Selection Criteria

iEARN-Pakistan  will recruit  educators from the  selected schools to participate in the intensive, three-days CIVICS-BRIDGE training workshops.

 

 iEARN will select workshop participants based on the following criteria:

 

bulletFlexibility, maturity, leadership ability, basic computer literacy, interest in educational telecommunications, academic record, and community involvement;

bulletCommitment to supporting the development of online resources on a range of civil society and environmental topics that pertain to their communities and environment, such as the rule of law, civic activism, conflict resolution, environmental issues like pollution, endangered animals, water etc.;

bulletWillingness and ability to serve as a leader for advocating telecommunication solutions in various sectors to the local government, businesses, and education communities;

 

bulletBe willing to work as volunteer to support and train colleagues in their own schools and from the community or neighbourhood schools .

 

 

bulletWillingness and ability to serve as a trainer for future school workshops, and commit to being a mentor for future generations of participants beyond the end of the CIVICS-BRIDGE program.
