Youth Voluntary Activity by
Cardinal School Lahore Senior Campus
Proper Garbage Disposal System
For GYSD Grade 9 decided to work
with the young student body of ABROO School. We organized the Sports Day
for them and we also collected some stationery and books for them.
Our Second Project was to remove
the Graffite from the walls of nearby area.
Abroo
is an institute run for the betterment of the society of the under
privileged.
There
are different branches, sections and sectors of this school.
In
all there are 75 students. The number of these students is increasing day by
day.

They are performing a good job and creating a place in the minds and hearts
of people.
We the students of Grade 9 have worked very hard to make a slight difference
in the lives of the under privileged. We have worked to our full capacity
for those who cannot afford to earn a good living. We have strived hard to
help those, whose parents are sweepers, cooks, drivers, part-time workers,
vendors etc. All of us went to Abroo to see the children
and to see the circumstances in which they survive. We decided to
form a team and fulfill their needs by different means.
We had several meetings with Mrs. Rubina Shakeel the Director of ABROO
School.
We have strived really hard to collect money for the purchase of the
things that the children of Abroo needed. All of us combined together
and arranged a bake sale in the school and collected a good amount of
money. This money was used for the purchase of the things that these
children needed: sharpeners, erasers, notebooks etc.
To collect more money, all of us together arranged a bake sale.
The amount of money collected was used to buy the required things.
Grade 9, besides the stationery collection, has struggled hard
to organize a sports day for the children at Abroo. This sports
day was a big success. These children collected a good amount of
donations from their families, friends and neighbors.
