NAME OF THE PROJECT:"Collecting clothes from
neighbours and givivg them to the needy people".
COMMUNITY TO BE HELPED:The poor and the homeless
people who are living just a hand to mouth life and
who need to be supported.
REASON FOR HELPING SUCH PEOPLE:In this era of
economic crunch it is very difficult for a penurious
person to make his both ends meet.He needs to be
supported and helped for a better living.So we
should help such people so that they can also reach
out for a better life.
RESOURCES OR THE PEOPLE WHO CONTRIBUTED IN THE
PROJECT:I collected the clothes from my friends and
neighbours.
DETAILS:I started my project on 23rd of May.I asked
my neighbours if they could help me and give me some
clothes for this project..I called them on the
telephone, then I wet to their houses to collect the
clothes.This took almost three or for days.The
clothing included some stitched clothes of different
sizes like shalwar kameezes, clothes for small
children and some others.Then I went to a local
shelter on 26th of May and met the homeless and
needy people there.I spent some time with them and
then gave them the clothes.They really felt very
happy and said so much good things for me.Then I
again colected some clothes and went to those people
on 10th and 18th of June and gave them the
clothes.The smiles on their faces really gave me
inner satisfaction and tranquility and I felt very
happy by just taking a very small step for helping
humanity.
