NEEDS OF COMMUNITY:
The children in the organization needed care love n attention whcih we provided to them we treated them with love care n respected them n they did the same.

WHY DOES THE NEED EXISTS:
there are many children who are lied down on the street. They are not awared from any thng n this thng causes them to hv drugs. They are also treated badly by the people n are also arrested by the police. In order to save them frm such thngs there are organizations like initiators n Azad who work for them n provide them shelter. And we the youth work with thm to achieve their goals.

HOW CAN WE ADDRESS THESE NEEDS THROUGH SERVICES:
what we can do is to make them smile n lt thm forget all their pains n worries. we can help them to improve n make them aware. we can make them learn n study. thse children are mentally n phisically very weak we hv to make them srtong enuff to face the world!!!

WHAT WE LEARNED FROM THIS SERVICE:
well we learned a lot frm this service foirst of al we learned to play carrum
well the second thng we learned is that helping others is a best slf satisfaction.
we also learned brotherly love.. we saw thm living so happily there ...
we also learned sharing.. they used to share their each n every thng with each other...
we learned how to take care of small thngs..

HOW DID THIS EXPERIENCE EFFECTED ME:
first of all i want to say tht it was a great experience all over.it effected me in many ways.. i came to knoe the importance of my family n i love thm more than bfore. My spirit arose for community service. im eager to work for those kids now..

HOW DID MY EXPERIENCED DIFFERED FROM WHT I EXPECTED:
well this was really n awesome experience. i didnt expected anythng for it!!n whn I experienced it i felt very very happy n im very much satisfied with my work!!

I will continue with this experience althouygh my time period is finished but thn alsoi coz those kids are really innocent n they are very happy with us they need us. we will b visiting them as usual!!

OUR DAILY ROUTINES OF SIX DAYS:

FIRST DAY:
We met Sir Rana Asif there, who is the director of Initiators. he's the main guy in the organization. He does everything. well, we did a lot of stuff there. I have taken the pictures, will be sendin' soon. so there were 4 kids there. Their names were Noman,Fareed,Mohammed Hussain and Jawed of ages 13,12,10 and 5 respectively. Well, comin' to what we did and how we spent the time we had with them .. i'd tell you all..so,First we played with them. We had fun. They were very very well-mannered. Then we talked to them, asked them why they left their homes and came on the streets. Each of them had really sad stories. One of them were beaten up by their elders while ones parents died and he were all alone. 3 of them go to meet their families on weekends. They love it at home. They do, yeah!.. But they said they would haf liked it more if their elders would love 'em and not beat them. We really felt sorry for them. They're goin' through a lot and still livin' their lives happily! .. That is SOMETHING! We talked to them about different things. Ask them about what they like to eat and they replied they love to eat fish, biryani, tinde ..! Then we asked them if they like to learn different stuff and study? and they said they would love to study. They WANT to study.. onli that they dont haf anyone to teach them. Now, that was sad. It was. Then me and hina, we asked them names of different veges and fruits and they named them. Then we took some books and we made them read some "urdu stories".. they are weak in their urdu as well as english but hopefully we'll do something that is teach them how to read or write it in the time we have with them.We made them write their names in english and urdu both and they liked it a lot! they were very happy with what they wrote! Then we played a game with them which is called " badshah chor siphai " which i fink most of you know.. ! well, they didn't .. so we taught them and we played it and it was GREAT..! then it was time to go. We spent 3 hours with them and they were something i'll never forget. I took pictures side by side which i'll be postin' soon as it takes a lot of time to load them up on the site. well, we'll be workin' with them on alternate days. well, i felt sorry for the kids but thank God they atleast haf some safe place where they can spend good time and actually have fun and enjoy. Sir Rana and the other people in the office , i must say they work really hard. Its great of them to do all this. and I want to thank Miss Sarah for engagin' me with this community work. It was nice to spend my time with them. Thats all for t'day

SECOND DAY:
well im wrtiting my experience of 2nd day at m,y community service....
well at first day we dint planned any thng but on the seconmd we planned to give one hour to studies n one haopur for playing... n we did the same.
I also donated some clothes to them n Amber bought some juices n buisciuts for them....
forst we played with them one hour we played carrum board with them.. n yeah ofcourse we lose tyhe game they are an expert in playing it specially HUSSAIN ruless he really playes good ....
then we studied one hour... n that was fun coz The new Kid SALMAN was really good in studying... yeahh n NOMAN too... HUSSAIN n FAREED needs attention n which we gave them n enjoyedd the last one left named JAWED is is 5 yrs old n he only speaks bengali so its difficult to let him read but i told HUSSAIN Jawed's brother to teach him.. in bengali...
the kids are really nice n the environment tooo.. the feel very comfortablee. there n they are happy there we had a great time with them..

THIRD DAY:
so, this is what we did at the 3rd day!! I brought a couple of pepsi bottles and biscuits!!.. we ate 'em first. well, i was a bit late so hina came early that day and she taught the kids.. then when I came we played carem and hey WE WON THIS TIME!! yo !! !! so, i finally know how to play it. and i DONT play that bad. ! well, these kids! the love to study and learn new things!!.. which is GREAT!! Salman told us that he wants to be a doctor!!.. and he'll be one inshallah!.. We're tryin' to do what we can from our sides. So,me and hina , as decided, spent an hour teachin' them. We taught 'em addition, subtraction and how to write numbers. Salman and Noman knew how to do it so we gave 'em HOMEWORK..! we're goin' to check it tomorrow.. so, thats all what we did.

FOURTH DAY:
here goes our fourth days schedule with initiators…
I reached there at 12:15 and saw that the kids were having a bath.
I waited for them 5 mins n then we started. I thought them how to write ABC and took a small test. I also checked their homework, which we gave them. After 10 mins amber also arrived. I made JAVED the smallest one to write A and when he made it write I Also made a cartoon at his cheek and he was really happy with it!! I also made him read A and Apple n when he read it correct I made another cartoon at his cheek!!
the next one hour was of playing we played carrum agn me and amber were in one team and HUSSAIN and NOMAN were in the other…
me and amber cheated n made them laugh they knew we were cheating .. then we said that we dont know how to play it thts y well then also they won… hahaahh
we enjoyed a lot today…
cheating is fun!! hehehehehe

FIFTH DAY:
Hope you all are fine and enjoying good health. Today was our 5th day at the “Initiators”. And I’m glad to tell you all that 3 more students joined it. Well, I’ll tell you one more thing. These children are called on GEO channel for the 50 mins show. So, they went out with geo people yesterday! They were tellin’ us that they had fun which is great. So, anyway. We started with STUDIES. Taught the new kids how to write abc and 123. then we played carem. Well, Jawed it too young so the elder ones! They don’t let him play so t’day he was all MAD at ‘em for not letting him play. Anyways, I PLAYED WITH HIM!.. and he actually plays it VERY WELL.. oh then, hina, me , noman and the new kid Mohammed Ali we played LUDO.. but they both went as they had their lunch time and they had to serve food and eat it so, we both continued playin’ and I won! * lol ok I’m lying * Hina won!.. and I lost. Sad, I know. Thumbs up to Hina.. * By the way, you missed a change to beat my piece – I never told you then, am juz tellin’ you now so, PLEASE dun be mad at me * .. . Anyways, it was a great day!. We watched some t.v and listen to few songs and talked. Then it was time to go. So, we bid everyone good bye and came to our home. Nice day over all.

SIXTH DAY:
Hope you all are fine. Well, this is what we did on our 6th day at the initiators. well, this was our last day. as we had to complete our project till 25th june. As decided, we taught 'em first. i'm GLAD they have learnt something from us..! and oh HINA worked really hard for it. * good job girl * oo then it was time for carrem!!... .. and yeah they won, as usual!.. well, then we talked!.. and then they went .. they were workin' on the computer and listenin' to songs. .. and then it was time to go!.. so, we left.. told them then we would come SOON.. which we would!.. we , hina and amber , have decided to work with them in July as well.. ! Thats all. Haf a great day!..
