Eligibility: Following can apply or compete for the scholarships:
1-Scholarship is open only for Pakistani participants from iEARN partner schools who have participated or integrated the iEARN Online Collaborative projects.
2- The scholarships will be awarded only to the classroom teachers and students who have regularly participated in the focused iEARN projects.
3- Teachers whose maximum number of students have actively participated in the focused iEARN projects in the years 2007-2008 year.
Note: For GYSD, only 2008 projects will be counted
4-The students iEARN project work is posted in the iEARN interactive forums and bears the name of their teachers who lead the projects.
5- Students can only apply through their schools. Simply seek a recommendation letter from your school Principal and mail it to the iEARN Centre-Pakistan.
Ineligibility: Following people do not qualify to apply and compete for these scholarships:
1- The teachers or students who have already traveled on any full or partial iEARN travel scholarships.
2- iEARN Centre-Pakistan staff/Board members or their families.
3- Principals/Headteachers/Administrators/CEO of the schools/Organizations (even if they have lead or coordinated iEARN activities or trainings).
Important: Any kind of scholarship mentioned above does not include:
- The Visa fees ($40/= or Rs2,500/=)
- The train tickets to and from Tashkent-Bukhara-Tashkent ($40 or Rs2,500/=)
- Airfare/bus/train to and from Lahore and different cities for flying through Air Uzbekistan.
- The scholarship does not cover any excursions, sightseeing tours, shopping or personal expenses at the conference site.
Last date for receiving all applications is 30th March 2008
For CIVICS/GYSD Scholarships last date is 30th April 2008.
