iEARN CIVICS BRIDGE Beginners' Workshop in Karachi

5th -6th September ' 03

22 educators from private and trust schools have successfully attended the 2 days iEARN CIVICS-BRIDGE Training Program from 5th-6th September'2003

Most of the participating schools are adopted by IISAR as a part of their school improvement program. The schools are located in very poor localities but are focused at providing quality education. The  staff and leadership  are enthusiastic to initiate iEARN projects in their schools.

The participants  have enthusiastically completed all the offline and online  workshop activities and made real efforts to learn the skills and understand the concept of shared online learning.

SThe two days session was facilitated by veteran iEARNers that includes Tahir Hussain  the iEARN Teacher and Sarah Alam the iEARN Stuidents Faciliator and Youth Representative..

 

iEARN-Pakistan in collaboration with IISAR Foundation conducted a two days teachers' training program.

Dr. Saleem, theChairman of IISAR Foundation   joined the group for the closing of the workshop and distributed the certificates.

The teachers found the workshop to be of great interest and therefore they participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The views of one of the participant " The experience we have gained through iEARN workshop is one which will help us communicates better with the different teaching and learning communities of the world .The facilitators were very cooperative regardless of difficulties caused by language and technological problems."
