Target Area:
I am working in my area (Booni) and it would benefit the people of my area

Project Details:
In the beginning I planed to report my work with few photos and brief description, but when I, proceeded and found that it is not enough, the topic I selected is quite complicated and I need to work more .With the devotion of my full time and applying all my efforts I worked hard. The description of my work in details is as follows.

Step 1: (support and Training)
I already have been working as a volunteer with Aga Khan Social Welfare Board for Pakistan(Booni branch Chitral) so I, requested them to support me and I am happy to get a positive and encouraging response from them . They supported me fully.

When I was going to start working on my project I felt the intense need of my own training and more information about my chosen topic. For the reason I contact with Mr Salamat who is the coordinator of Aga Khan Social Welfare board branch of my area. Mr Salamat himself got training about drugs in Karachi in a program arranged by UN and he also has attained many workshops about drugs. More importantly the organization in which he is serving as coordinator is working on portfolio of drug abuse all over Chitral. He trained me, and he also provided much information about drugs . The organization also provided me banners, playing card and calendar about drug abuse.

Step 2: (Awareness Programs)
  After getting training and information I started my work. I visited some schools of my area and with the permission of school's head I arranged short term awareness program among the students in which I, told the students about drug abuse and its bad effects . I answered the questions of students. In short I told them all that I knew and trained about drug abuse.
In Space Era model school.

It is a newly established primary school. Mr Amin is the principal of the school and when I visited the school the principal was pleased and I told the kids about drug abuse.
Here I am in the hospital to meet the drug addict who is recovering nicely and he is very happy.

Learning Experience:
Here I am giving lecture to the kids about the drug abuse while staff is also present. After program I am there with the students holding playing cards about drugs. In Orion School of Learning Booni Orion School of learning is a well established school. I visited the school and i was welcomed by the school head and staff. I told the Principal the reason for my visit and he merely gave me the permission to do my work. I did my work as i planned before and gave a brief lecture on the topic of drug abuse.

Here I am giving lecture about drug abuse to the students of Orion School of Learning Booni. The students showed deep interest in lecture. The lecture was for students of class 9 and 10th.
After awareness program I had a photo with the students of Orion School of Learning.

Beside these two schools I also visited many other schools but I didn't included them in my report.

Results of my Project:
The results are fruit full and I am very happy with them. It is the result of my project that hundreds of students are aware about drug abuse and its bad effects.

I may include it to the results of my project that there is a drug addict young man who has been using opium but don't wanted to use more drugs as he can't do that because he was an addict and was poor man. He wanted to live prosperously with his family again . I wrote an application to Aga Khan Social Welfare Board of my area to help the addict in recovering by giving him medical treatment as he can't afford. It is my success that the board accepted my application and now the addict is admitted in hospital taking medical treatment and according to the doctors he will recover soon and thus would be able to live normally.

Learning Experience:

1- It improved my talking abilities and created more boldness.
2- I got many information about drug abuse and its bad effects
3- it also created leadership abilities and encouraged me to lead from the friend.
