 Vision and Purpose

Promote the use of ICT for international Collaboration and making a difference by providing unique learning opportunities

iEARN is the  worlds largest K-12  online multicultural community of educators and students from 110 countries.  iEARN in Pakistan is  a project of The Society for International Education, registered as a non-profit, non-government educational society under the societies registration act 1860 KAR No.067/05, dedicated to the development of global partnerships in education, capacity building of learning communities based on the effective use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) for Pakistan and rest of the globe.

 iEARN-Centre, Pakistan under the Society for International Education in collaboration with its partners  is committed to work with umbrella organizations, academic bodies, universities, non-government organizations, and governments to establish a global community of concerned organizations and citizens with the express purpose of supporting the youth of the world in developing and implementing educational and humanitarian projects, especially projects of change and healing for the health and welfare of the planet.

Our Goals

• Promote Project Based Learning as a strong educational tool
• Enhance students’ expression, language skills and understanding of the world.
•  Engage students in discussions and dialogue globally to discuss common issues and those related to one’s culture.

•  Improve learning and teaching practices.
• Build a supportive community of educators that share the latest teaching methodologies.

 Our Services

• Professional Development courses and modules for K-12 teachers, in and outside Pakistan in all subject areas with special focus on teaching English,  Social Sciences, Civic Education, World Cultures, Environment and technology integration across curriculum.

• Students workshops and summer camps for ICT, Reading and Writing and Service Learning projects.

• Students and teachers online workshops and courses. Supporting schools, educators and students in effective use of online curriculum based projects.

• Publishing teaching resources for technology in education and project based learning.

• Promoting and facilitating community service and youth volunteerism by training and curriculum development.

• Managing study abroad and exchange programs for youth and educators.
